My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Polo — Your Big, Lovable Shadow! 🐾

Polo is an 8-year-old gentle giant with a heart every bit as big as he is. This sweet boy is a total baby who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. If you’re sitting, he wants to be leaning against you
Here at the shelter, Polo is feeling very stressed and overwhelmed, and it shows in some jumpy, excited behavior. He doesn’t always remember his manners, but with patience, routine, and kindness, he’ll absolutely blossom. Because of this, Polo is looking for an adult only home or a home with teens and up that way he and everybody else are most comfortable! He already knows sit, give paw, and lay down, and with the right guidance he can keep building on those good manners.

Polo loves all toys, but rope toys are his absolute favorite! A good game of tug-o-war will make his whole day. He’s a big, strong guy and gets very excited on leash — he pulls with enthusiasm — so his adopters should be prepared for his strength and help him learn that walks can be calm and fun.

Polo is looking for adopters who can provide structure, patience, and lots of time to decompress.
Polo is waiting for you! Come meet your new best friend!
