My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mac is a big-hearted, goofy cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be part of the fun and close to his people. Friendly, affectionate, and great with kids—including those with higher needs—Mac thrives on attention and happily greets every new friend with tail wags and wiggles. He’s moderately active and playful but also loves to chill once the excitement settles, especially if he can curl up beside you.

In the shelter, Mac has done well in play groups with other dogs and enjoys social time, though on leash he can get enthusiastic when he spots a potential canine friend and may pull or lurch out of eagerness to say hello. With a confident handler, he settles nicely. Mac enjoys brushing, adores peanut butter, and knows several commands (though “be quiet” might still be a work in progress).

A sensitive guy, Mac can be nervous about baths, loud noises, and vet visits, but with treats and reassurance he bounces back quickly. Quirky and charming, he loves plush toys (which he proudly destroys), will gather soft “treasures” for his crate nest, and may try to join any good time he hears happening. Mac is housetrained, crate trained, good when left alone after a short bout of whining, and sleeps soundly once settled.

This loving, fun, and wonderfully snuggly dog is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles to his future home.
