My story

Their adoption process

When adopting from us all of your current pets in the home must be up to date on all vaccines as well as spayed or neutered.

In our adoption contract that you will sign, you will legally agree to keep the pet up to date and return to us if you cannot keep it in the future.

Dogs must stay on heartworm prevention year round and cannot be outdoor only dogs.

Cats must be indoor only and cannot be declawed per our contract.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. The first step to adopting from us is to submit an application through our website.
  2. Approve Application
    1. Once your application has been processed, our adoptions team will reach out to you to let you know if it has been approved.
  3. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Once your application has been approved, our adoptions team will set up an appointment for you to come to our facility and meet pets.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. We send all of our adoptable pets home on a foster to adopt basis first where you will be required to put down a non-refundable deposit.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. After the foster to adopt period, you will pay the rest of the adoption fee and officially sign our adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

Because we are an animal hospital first, our shelter is not open to the public.

If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat with us, please first complete an application through our website.

Once your application is approved, our adoptions team will reach out to get you in the meet the pet in person at our facility by appointment only.

We have some really amazing cats and dogs looking for loving forever homes!

More about this rescue

We are an animal hospital in Sterling Heights Michigan that is also a licensed shelter.

We take on dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need. We vet all of our adoptable animals and take the utmost care of them until we can find them their perfect loving forever homes.

All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, receive fecal testing and treatment, and are microchipped before adoption.

Our dogs are heartworm tested and kept on prevention here with us. We do require that they stay on year round heartworm prevention after going home.

Our cats are all triple tested for FIV, FelV, and Heartworm disease before adoption.
