Heaven is gentle, affectionate, and so appreciative of kindness. She enjoys cozy naps, calm company, and soft words of encouragement. Right now, she just needs a quiet, comfortable place to heal, along with someone who can keep an eye on her and make sure she gets the TLC she deserves.
Her doggy cold is manageable and she’s expected to feel better with rest and basic care—nothing too complicated, just love and attention. Once she’s healthy and spayed, Heaven will be one step closer to her forever home.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
Kittens: $150
Cats: $75
