My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Cutie Loveheart was brought into care by her previous owner on February 9, 2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Cutie Loveheart really does live up to her name - she's a whole lot of sweetness wrapped in a wiggly, happy pup! This lively girl is always ready to sprinkle a little sunshine into your day. She loves hard and plays hard, so she'll thrive with a family who can help her burn off her zoomies in fun, positive ways. Because she's got a big heart and big energy, she'd do best in a home without young kiddos under 8 who might get bowled over during her "love bursts." Cutie also prefers to keep her dinner to herself, so she's looking for a dog-free home with a peaceful dining spot. She's still perfecting her leash manners, so ongoing positive-reinforcement training will be her jam. With her silly antics, affectionate nature, and tail that never stops wagging, Cutie Loveheart is ready to be your one and only! Adopt her and prepare for a life loaded with joy, giggles, and pure cuteness!

At SDHS:
Cutie Loveheart has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for adoption!

Excitable Dog: Cutie Loveheart requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
