Bella is a loving, people-oriented dog who thrives on human attention and connection. She's happiest as the only pet in the home and needs calm, predictable outings rather than busy dog parks or off-leash venues. Her enthusiasm and zest for life make her a wonderful fit for families with older children (12+) who can enjoy her playful spirit. A behavior consultation is recommended to help set her up for success in her new home. Bella is a sweet, affectionate companion ready to bring lots of joy to the right family!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
