Odysseus is a playful guy. He is a very big guy and he is still growing. He loves playing with his sister, Paris, or my other fosters. His absolute favorite spot is to be sleeping right on your chest. He follows me around when I walk and likes to rub himself in between my legs. His favorite spot to sleep is right on my chest. He’s very playful and adores crinkly balls and wand toys. He will carry around toys in his mouth and show them off. I call him the gentle giant ! He is a brown tabby and they can be difficult to get adopted because they are often overlooked compared to cats with more unique colors or markings. Their low adoption rates are comparable to black cats, which have long been known to be difficult to adopt, but the "trend" of being overlooked is now shifting to brown tabbies. Sadly, Odysseus has fallen victim to this and has been in the rescue for over 150 days. He has been in the rescue since he was a tiny kitten and has been continuously overlooked. Could you open your home to this sweet boy?

The mission of Percy’s Angelic Cat Rescue is to rescue cats and kittens in need from homeless or abandoned situations as well as from shelters or private citizens needing support in the Midlands of South Carolina.
We home-foster, while providing veterinary services (spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, immunizations, and microchips), socialization and manage adoption placement to responsible, indoor homes.
We also support stabilized colonies of community cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) services and having a “Barn Cat” placement program.
We believe that raising awareness through public education and partnering with local shelters, rescue groups, businesses and surrounding communities is a pertinent part of our rescue’s mission.
