Rescued from a local shelter, Stella has now spent about a year in foster with Bring Em Home Animal Rescue & Trapping Inc., and she is so ready to find her forever home!
She’s a 4-year-old, 50 lb pit bull terrier mix who first arrived as a stray with an unknown past, but she’s been making up for it every day with her charm, big heart, and goofy personality.
In her foster home, Stella has proven to be a happy, easy-going, medium-energy girl. She loves doing zoomies in the yard and playing with her toys, but she’s just as content curling up on the couch for cozy snuggles and gentle scratches. She leans in for affection and soaks up every bit of love she’s given.
Stella is crate-trained and has done well crated for up to 8 hours during a workday. She keeps herself busy with her snuffle mat and frozen Kongs and enjoys her 2–3 daily walks or time in the fenced-in yard to take care of her business. She’s very housebroken, treat-motivated, and eager to learn — she knows “sit,” comes when called, and is easily redirected when excited.
Because she hasn’t had many opportunities to make dog friends, slow and thoughtful dog introductions are a must. She has shown positive interest and friendly, wiggly body language toward the resident pups on leash, but giving her time helps her shine.
She can initially be a bit nervous when meeting new folks and needs introductions at her pace, but once she knows you’re trustworthy, she is ready to be your loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered best friend.
Stella is loved deeply in her foster home, but it’s time for her to find the perfect person or family to call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just needs someone to believe in her, Stella is ready to steal your heart.
Reach out today to meet this sweet girl and give her the forever home she deserves!

We are a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue with a big heart. We're not breed specific—we're need specific. We believe every life matters and focus on quality over quantity, giving the most vulnerable animals the care and love they truly deserve.
We rescue dogs from local shelters who are facing the unthinkable—those suffering from severe medical issues caused by abuse, neglect, or tragic accidents. These are the dogs often overlooked, the ones whose futures hang in the balance.
In our care, they find more than just medical treatment—they find safety, compassion, and the warmth of a loving foster home. We guide them through every step of their healing journey, ensuring they receive the surgeries and care they so desperately need.
When they’re ready, we match them with forever families who will love them as fiercely as we do. Every dog we rescue is a life reclaimed, a story rewritten—and a reminder that love truly can heal.
We are always looking for volunteers, fosters and new business partnerships. Donations are an added bonus and help us to provide the care that our animals need.
