Noodle is a sweet, affectionate female Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix. She’s a medium-energy and sized girl who loves to snuggle, play, and explore—the perfect companion for cuddles and adventure alike!
This precious girl was rescued from a hoarding situation. At that time she was pregnant, but unfortunately, her puppies didn’t make it. She emotionally recovered and is now thriving in her foster home.
Noodle is incredibly friendly and social. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs—she even tries to play with the grumpiest of them! She adores cats and has formed a special bond with her feline friend, snuggling and sharing affection like a pro. She’s also a gentle and loving companion for kids and adults of all ages, ready to melt into your lap for long snuggle sessions.
She’s well-trained and obedient: house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, though she’s still learning about the big wide world outside. Noodle may get a little spooked at new things at first, but with patience and love, she quickly gains confidence.
Noodles would thrive in a home that’s patient and understanding as she navigates new experiences. She’d benefit from a confident dog companion and dog-savvy children who respect her gentle alert nature.
Noodle is ready to bring love, joy, and snuggles into her forever family. Could your home be the perfect place for this sweet girl to shine?

More about this rescue
PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
