My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spring — the little shepherd mix who’s blooming into something truly special.
Spring’s first chapter was far harsher than any puppy deserves. He was rescued just in time from Skid Row, where someone was preparing to “trade” him for drugs. But even after all that, this sweet little boy still leads with love. It’s impossible not to be moved by his spirit.
Under a year old and full of heart, Spring is everything you hope for in a young dog: friendly, curious, gentle, and endlessly optimistic. He gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s that rare, easy-going pup who seems to make friends everywhere he goes!
Right now, Spring is in a premier training program, and he’s proving to be an absolute star student. He loves to learn, loves to please, and you can practically see his confidence growing every day. He’s going to make someone incredibly proud and happy.
Spring is ready for his forever family. He is ready to spring into a home where he’s safe, loved, and celebrated for the remarkable little soul he is.
If you’ve been searching for a puppy with sweetness, resilience, and a whole lot of joy packed into one adorable package, Spring is waiting for you. Come meet Spring today!

Additional adoption info

All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

More about this rescue

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.

As with any non-profit organization, we rely solely on funds from generous and cherished supporters to keep our doors open to save more lives. If you're not ready to adopt, please still consider donating to Take Me Home (www.takemehome.tv) today. Every little bit helps!
