MIRANA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Mirana Best Guess for Breed: Australian shepherd and Shepherd mix
Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of Nov. 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 14.5 lbs as of 10/26/25 - she is still growing!
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Mirana is Looking For: Her forever home! Mirana is at the tail end of puppyhood and has all that awesome young-dog energy. She is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and romps with pup pals and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together.
Most of all, though, she wants to know she is safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she has, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Mirana the one you have been seeking?
What My Foster Says About Me: Mirana is the most affectionate dog we’ve had. She always wants to be with her people for pets and belly rubs. She has a charming puppy playfulness about her and is full of curiosity about her new life. She walks easily on a leash and is still learning crate training and being house broken. She loves to play with her squishy toys and is happiest going on a walk with you. She also enjoys running with other dogs in the dog park. With her big ears, she is a cute part dog, part elf!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
