My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m the best of both worlds: an outdoor adventurer and an indoor cuddle companion. I absolutely love being outside! Hiking, running, exploring, and playing are my favorite things. But once the fun is over and we head back inside, I’m happy to settle down, relax, and lounge while you watch TV.

I’m currently in foster care with two extra-large dogs and I’m doing great with them, so I’m comfortable sharing my space with canine friends. My foster family says I’m going to make a really wonderful dog for someone who enjoys both activity and downtime.

When you meet me, you may notice I have tarsal laxity, which simply means my back ankles are a little loose right now. It’s something we’re keeping an eye on, and it’s expected to improve as I grow, build strength, and continue with proper nutrition and exercise.

If you’re looking for a puppy who’s up for outdoor fun but knows how to chill, I might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever home!

XO, Sarah
