*** Kenja is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***
Kenja #20007: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 3/1/25
Cats: good Dogs: unknown / likely okay Children: all ages
BACKGROUND: When Kenja was a kitten, he was found hiding in a tree near the feeding station for a colony of cats; he had not been seen there before by the caretaker, and he was scared and confused. Upon arrival in a foster home, however, Kenja realized he was safe and showed that he is a very friendly cat who loves living with people!
PERSONALITY: You’ll have a cutely squeaking cat-shaped shadow with Kenja in your home… he follows you everywhere! Pat a chair and Kenja will jump on it. Sit down and Kenja will be walking all over you to get your full attention, giving you head-bumps especially on your hands since he knows those are the petting implements. While this can make it difficult to get things done, it is absolutely adorable. You can hold Kenja and carry him around as he happily rumbles a loud appreciative purr… he even likes being kissed! This sweet and friendly boy comes when called, likes sitting on people, and will lounge across your lap being the best cuddle companion. He’s still an adolescent, though, which means he’s very curious and he loves to play! Kenja likes the heights and gets up on doors, cabinets, cat trees, and even your shoulders. All cat toys are awesome (wands that involve you are perfect!), and no bug will escape his fascinated attention.
COMPATIBILITY: Kenja likes hanging out with other cats; he would also be fine as a solo kitty so long as he gets lots of attention from his people. We suspect that cat-friendly dogs would be okay after a proper introduction. He’d likely enjoy being around children of all ages who are gentle and kind with him… and bring out the toys!
Kenja is quite a cat… are you ready to fall in love with the best little panther in the world?
