Named for being just as warm and comforting as her namesake, Manicotti is a 2-year-old Domestic Medium Hair who weighs in at a dainty 8 pounds. She arrived at the shelter as a stray with several other cats, which leads us to believe she would do very well in a multi-cat household!
While she is incredibly sweet and loving, she is quite shy at the moment. She is looking for a calm environment with a gentle person who will chit-chat with her and give her soft pets while she finds her confidence. If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Manicotti might be your perfect match.
Manicotti is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. You can visit her at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

The staff will review your application! Please bring all necessary documents such as pet lease agreements signed by your landlord.

OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
