Leo's world used to be very small, and much of life still feels new to him. This shy but incredibly sweet boy is learning, day by day, that people can be kind and the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. With patience and gentle reassurance, Leo's true personality begins to shine - and it's absolutely worth the wait.

Leo tends to bond most comfortably with women and feels safest when he can take his time getting to know someone. Once he trusts you, he's affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to his person. He wants nothing more than to be the star of someone's life, which means he'll do best as the only pet in the home. No competition - just Leo and his special human.

Because he's still discovering that the big world can be a good place, Leo needs an adopter who can go at his pace, celebrate his small victories, and show him consistent love and reassurance. A calm, stable home where he can feel secure will help him blossom into the confident little companion he's meant to be.
