My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax
Fostered in London, On
Approx 10 weeks old
Lab, husky, Shep Mix
Vaccinated
Will be neutered prior to adoption
Adoption Fee: $700
Jax is an adorable, happy-go-lucky puppy who’s full of that classic puppy charm. He loves squeaky toys, chew toys (he is teething!), and all the cuddles you’re willing to give.
This sweet boy is doing great with his house training — he’s mastered the puppy pads and will happily do his business outside too. Jax is very food-motivated, but he can get a little excited at mealtime, so he’s been practicing sitting and waiting politely.
Jax is working very hard on his leash manners and is making great strides every single day! Jax get's along great with the older humans of the world, though the younger ones - we don't see being an issue but of course supervised as he is still a puppy.
Jax is not cat tested.
He’s also working through the normal puppy nipping stage and making steady progress.
Overall, Jax is a loving, playful pup with no major concerns — just your typical growing boy who’s learning the ropes and looking for a family to keep guiding him.
If you're ready for puppy fun, training, and endless affection, Jax is your guy!

More about this rescue

Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for dogs from the dog sledding industry. We also extend our reach locally by rescuing stray dogs and cats from Indigenous communities that we partner with.

Our rescue began saving street dogs and cats, AKA Baladis, in Egypt. Since the important on animals ban implemented in 2022, we are no longer allowed to bring animals into Canada from Egypt. Our efforts, however, expand globally, as we continue to help support the placement of Baladi's in Egyptian shelters.
