Meet Australia!
🐾 1 year • 11 lbs • Long-haired Mini Dachshund Mix

Australia is a tiny ball of fluff with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She’s a total Velcro pup who wants to be wherever you are—lap included! When left alone she’ll cry and howl for a bit, but she eventually settles.

She’s active, playful, and full of puppy energy. Australia loves playing tag with younger dogs and would do great with another fun, active dog. She respects senior pups—unless they try to steal her human’s lap, which brings out her adorable little jealous streak.

She has a healthy appetite, is mostly house-trained, does great with nail trims, and isn’t a fan of the crate when left alone.

Australia will thrive with someone who can offer attention, structure, and plenty of love. If you want a snuggly shadow dog with a playful side, she’s your girl!

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

Located in Boerne, TX and transport all across United States for a $300 transport fee.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
