He is a sweet dog who loves to play outside and soak up all the attention he can get. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side truly shines, and he enjoys every moment spent with his people. He does have a shy streak, especially when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, but with a little patience and kindness, he quickly warms up and shows just how loving and gentle he really is.

Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
