Age: 2 yrs (as of 11/13/25)
Weight: 55 lbs. (as of 11/13/25)
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Everybody loves Rosie! Say hello to this lovely, loyal two-year-old Australian Kelpie mix who's looking for her new forever home. At that perfect young adult age, Rosie Hip loves chilling out on the couch on a cold winter's night but is always ready to go for a ride or play chase with her canine siblings or neighbors. When she's playing with her squeaky toys and chew toys, that's when you'll see her puppy instincts in full swing!
Rosie's not the biggest fan of crates, but she's been able to adapt so would do fine if crates are your preference. While you're out earning a paycheck, she's perfectly content to stay either indoors (she has a no-accident track record!) or outdoors in the yard. She does really well in the car, so is happy to accompany you on errands, but she's even more excited to take walks and is real proud of the leash walking skills she's learned. She's playful, affectionate, and even-tempered around adults, children, dogs, and cats, so would do well in a high-traffic household, a quiet bachelor pad, or anything in between.
Rosie and her brother Max Hip (see separate listing) were house dogs to an ailing elderly couple who had extended periods of immobility and have now passed away, so they'll need a little extra attention while they acclimate to new homes. They're available either individually or as a pair. Rosie's waiting to meet you!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
