My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Kenmore and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 3 year old, male, Miniature Poodle mix who came to SB Humane from an overcrowded shelter.

I am ready to be your little shadow. I am what they would call a velcro dog. The moment we make a connection you will never be alone again. Going for a walk? I am waiting by the door. Snack time? I will pick up the crumbs.
I would love a home that is ready to show me all the finer things in life, and I will return the favor by being your faithful companion.

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.

Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.

Hope to see you soon!
