Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 9 years
A little bit about Bandita: - children unknown - cats / small animals unknown - limited history with other dogs, potential for select other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dog
Meet Bandita, the sweet, spunky, and cuddly senior bulldog looking for a home to call her own! Despite her senior age and over-conditioned body (she`s pretty chunky!), she can still have her moments of zoomies and enjoys short walks! But Bandita is most content to chill on the couch, get all the scratches she can, and offer lots of kisses in return! She even did well with other low-energy dogs and dog-savvy cats in her foster homes, so there`s a chance she may do well with other resident animals.
With her rough start to life and senior status, there are some medical concerns that adopters should be aware of before committing to taking Bandita home, such as needing special eye meds for the remainder of her life. But the wonderful adoption counselors can fill you in on that when you come to meet Bandita! Give this gentle gal the love and care a senior sweetheart like her deserves, and discover just how much love she still has to give!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
