Meet Scar & Ghost – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever (or Foster) Home Scar and Ghost are two gorgeous senior huskies whose story almost ended tragically—but instead, it’s becoming one of hope, healing, and love. These bonded best friends were rescued from SEAACA shelter just minutes before euthanasia after being confiscated after years of severe neglect. When they first arrived at the shelter, they were described as emaciated and suffering from multiple medical issues: painful ear infections, severe skin infections, fly strike, bruising, an eye infection, limping, dental disease, and more. Despite everything they had endured, their gentle spirits never faded. The good news? After just a few weeks of dedicated veterinary care, medication, nutritious food, and—most importantly—love, Scar and Ghost are thriving. They are healing beautifully and improving every single day. They still have obstacles to recover from but we are working on them too! Who they are now: • Loving, happy, and playful. Their tails wag the minute you touch them! Gentle with kids! • Exceptionally sweet and affectionate with everyone they meet. • Calm, well-mannered, and respectful in the home. They don't jump on people or furniture. • Quiet, smart, and non-destructive. They are so easy going! • Their coats are growing back and becoming more beautiful by the day. • These are truly two of the nicest dogs you will ever meet. They are an absolute joy to have as house guests, and we are honored and privileged to be part of their journey. Scar and Ghost are bonded and must stay together—they draw comfort, confidence, and happiness from one another. They are now looking for a forever home—or a loving long term foster—where they can spend their golden years surrounded by the care and kindness they were denied for so long. Come meet Scar and Ghost. I promise—it will be love at first sight. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to two incredibly deserving souls, Scar and Ghost are waiting!Fill out an adoption application directly on our website at www.lionelslegacy.org
