Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nintendo came to us when his previous owner had health concerns that significantly limited how much time and attention Nintendo was getting, and his young dog needs were not being met.
Nintendo was very insecure when he first arrived, quite confused about the changes in his life, but recently he has started to show us what a friendly, funny guy he is! He lived with small dogs in his prior home, and was reported to be very playful with them. He hasn`t had the chance to meet any dogs his own size here yet, so we don`t know if he`s open to other dog relationships. He has only been around adults, so we don`t know how he feels about children, and he`s never seen cats.
Nintendo would probably do best in a relatively calm home, but with someone who can give him outlets for his energy, such as long sniffy walks, food puzzle boxes, and slow introductions to new life adventures. He does love the sound of his own voice, and can throw out a hearty hound bay, so apartment living won`t make sense for this guy.
