Mayor Brian may not run the town (yet), but he will happily run your heart. This 11-month-old, 45-lb mixed breed is a sweet, gentle boy who might start off a little shy with new people and dogs, but once he warms up, his affectionate, charming side comes out in full force. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and absolutely loves his long walks. He has just the right amount of energy to keep up with an active family. Mayor Brian is the kind of pup who wins you over quietly and completely, one soft look and tail wag at a time.

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
