HallBARK Channel Presents: “Are You My Family?” Starring Maya 🤩
When Maya finds herself homeless, she knows she has two choices. She can either lay around feeling sorry for herself or put on her big girl doggie pants and start her search for a loving forever family. She tells herself she has the rest of her life to be part of a loving family and anxiously begins her search.
Her adventures take her on a journey of self-discovery. She feels confident that what she has to offer a family is rare. She is determined to find THE perfect family that will appreciate her for all her outstanding qualities. She is a 5-year-old Shepherd Mix who weighs 87 lbs.
Her journey starts with listing her numerous, sought-after attributes:
Maya loves to be outside playing and running around the yard, & she especially loves playing with her doggie friends. She enjoys following her people around as they do the farm chores. She would thrive in an active family that provides her with numerous opportunities to run and play. Throw her a ball & she will get it…but bringing it back is all up to you 🤣
Maya has learned several commands, such as “sit,” “come,” and “go.” She tolerates a leash and is learning that pulling is not good doggie manners. Maya finds sleeping on the sofa or next to her humans on the floor very comfortable. She knows how to make you feel special. She is always so excited to see her humans when they come home.
Will Maya find her forever home? Will she find the family that is made for her? Could this be you?
Stay tuned to find out how Maya finds her happily ever after.
Maya is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. If you are interested in meeting this darling lady, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.
What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
