"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." ~Coco Chanel
Well, it just so happens that our very own Coco is both of those things! She wouldn’t be caught dead jumping on someone – how gauche! And a brindle coat is always a classic, don't you think?
Meet Coco Chanel - a 1-year-old Great Dane mix who is both playful and sweet with a loving demeanor. She is a mellow girl who keeps all her paws on the floor and stays calm while you get in a good snuggle. She’s a gentle soul who loves everyone she meets — dogs, cats, and even young kids.
Coco has excellent manners: she knows “sit” and “stay,” walks beautifully on a leash, and never jumps up on people. She’s also crate trained and does not have furniture privileges in her foster home. The vet thinks she’s all grown up so she shouldn’t be getting bigger than she is currently.
While she’s still in her playful puppy stage (aka, chewing), Coco is easily redirected with her favorite toys — balls and tugs; she is also satisfied with a chew toy. She’s calm during storms and loud noises, sheds very little, and doesn’t need a ton of exercise — just some playtime and lots of love.
If you’re looking for a kind, loyal, and easygoing best friend, Coco Chanel is ready to steal your heart — and maybe your couch (if you let her)!
Coco’s adoption fee is $175 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations, and flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. Meet and Greets can be scheduled with Approved Adopters so get your application in today!

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.
What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
