My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reindeers are better than people 🦌 > 👫
Don't you think that that's true? 🤔
(Us, too!)

Yes, Reindeers are better than people 🦌 > 👫
Hey, don't you think that we’re right?🙂‍↕️

That’s definitely true 👍
For this little crew 🐾

Of puppies—they’re the best, outta sight! 🐶

Ok, but our reindeer really ARE the best! And who knows? If you play your cards right, maybe they’ll tell Santa to bring you an extra present or two this year!

Introducing…the Reindeer litter: Dasher(M), Dancer (F), Prancer(F), Comet(M), Cupid(F), Donner(M), and Blitzen (M)! Oh deer, these babies are cute!

These little rein-dogs are 2-month-old Labrador Retriever mixes who are expected to be a nice medium size when fully grown! Mom is around 40lbs, if not a little smaller, and dad is guessed to be about the same size; we expect the pups to be around 40lbs fully grown. Big enough to pull the sleigh, but not so big they cave in the roof—that’s perfect!

Each reindeer has their own little personality, and it would be a little Rudolph of us not to tell you all about them so you can get a good idea of which one might be the best fit for you! So, read on, friends!

Dasher-He is more independent and loves to observe from a distance, choosing the right moment to join in with playing.

Dancer-She may be tiny, but mighty. This little girl can hold her own against her bigger siblings!

Prancer-She is a little more independent than the rest of the babies, but comes up for pets and attention on her terms.

Comet-This boy is constantly going until he is picked up, then he goes into a baby position and doesn’t move for hours.

Cupid-She is so social and wants to be held constantly. Such a lover girl!

Donner-He is a playful boy with his siblings, but calms down and lulls to a sleep as soon as he is picked up.

Blitzen-This boy is so sweet. He wants to be pet and loved on right by your side at all times!

Your sleigh bae will come to you spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. They will also be current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Their adoption fee is $275. We’re not ones to Dancer around the facts: you’re going to need to Blitzen through the crowds to get your hand on one of these magical little pups!

So Dasher on over to PawsitiveTailsKC.org now to fill out your app! Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters.

Go meet their pets

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.

Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue

Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.

Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
