Earth has appointed himself the 4-legged welcoming committee in his foster home. He is so happy to see his people, whether they’ve been gone for 2 minutes getting the mail or for 2 hours out to eat. He kindly greets people with a gift – he has to grab a toy and bring it every time someone comes home or comes into the room. So generous of you, Earth!
He is also a neat freak. He likes to pile all of his toys in his bed. He is very willing to share them with you as long as you toss them and play fetch with him. He releases his toys gently from his mouth, and he’s not a bitey puppy, even when it’s playtime.
See what we mean about this guy? Such a character. The best part is that he already has learned commands and wants nothing more than to please his people. He knows stay and down, and he’s working on sit and wait. He walks nicely on a leash as well. Pretty great for only 5 months old.
Earth loves meeting anyone new and welcomes them into his circle immediately (offering them a toy, of course). His lifestyle works kind of like this: He has a burst of Energy! Enthusiasm! Excitement! and then he settles down comfortably into whatever is happening around the house. He’s not an anxious type, so when his people aren’t home or other dogs aren’t around, he settles himself and waits patiently for more fun.
He plays well with other dogs and doesn’t chase the cat. He doesn’t seem to bark in the house, and he only barks outside if he hears other dogs.
Earth is crate trained, and he is most of the way there on house training. We think he’ll be 40-50 pounds full grown. He’s neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped, plus he’ll come to you current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $175.
