Pasta is a 1-year-old, 52-lb Catahoula mix who came to the shelter as a stray on 10/26. He may be growing, but he’s still very much a baby at heart — playful, sweet, and eager to connect.
He’s a stunning young dog and a pleasure to handle. Pasta walks easily on leash and stays right by your side without pulling. He showed good body language when passing other kennels and appears to be dog friendly.
He can get excited and may jump up for treats, but he takes them gently — though your hand might accidentally end up in his mouth during the process. His enthusiasm is all sweetness, never pushy or rough.
Pasta is affectionate, fun-loving, and absolutely gorgeous. He’s ready for a home that can give him guidance, playtime, and all the love a young dog deserves.
As with any new pet, we recommend following the 3-3-3 guideline when helping Pasta settle into his new home: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home.
