Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BART is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how someone abandoned him and didn’t come racing to the shelter to claim him. He’s incredibly sweet, and this handsome boy has taken shelter life, rescue, and now foster life all in stride and he’s ready for his forever family.
At just 1 years old, BART is the perfect mix of playful energy and smarts. He loves to run and explore the outdoors, and he lights up the moment he realizes it’s playtime. He’s also extremely smart and very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. His foster mom says he already knows his daily routine and even kennels himself the moment he sees his food or treats, he’s truly a clever boy who wants to please.
BART is also wonderfully social. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys romping and exploring with them. With his wonderful temperament, eagerness to learn, and love for adventure, BART is ready to become the loyal, joyful companion someone has been waiting for.
Whoever gets to bring BART home is getting something truly special!

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
