His journey began on the streets of San Antonio, where he was hit by a car and left to fend for himself. He was brought to the city shelter and placed on the euthanasia list—but Bobo beat the odds twice. He survived the accident, survived the shelter, and now he’s ready to thrive in a loving forever home.
Bobo is a loyal, affectionate boy who has been patiently waiting for his chance. He does struggle with some anxiety, but once he settles into a routine, he truly blossoms—consistency, reassurance, and gentle structure help him feel safe and confident.
He’s dog-selective and prefers calmer, mellow canine friends. He would do great as the only pet or in a home with the right, easygoing dog. He does need a cat-free environment.

All dogs receive appropriate DHLPP and Bordetella (as well as a booster for both). They get dewormed, they get rabies, and get a 4DX test to make sure they are heartworm free as well as free of other tick borne illnesses. If they are sick, we get them the medical treatment they need for whatever the issue is. If they need a dental, we get the dental done and if they have any known injuries we address that with a vet and provide necessary treatment. ALL pets get completely vetted and sterilized before being listed for adoption. We require an initial phone call interview and then a FaceTime call to meet the potential adopter and for them to meet the dog. This is also how we perform a home check. We require personal references as well as a vet reference. We will not adopt to a home that cannot provide these references. Our goal is to help as many homeless dogs get out of Texas and to loving forever homes!

When we can, we help owners who need to surrender their pet so we can find that fur baby a good loving home.
