Current assessment and personality: River has made incredible progress in the time she has been with us. When she first came into our care, she was untouched and feral. Now that she has warmed up to people she has become quite the social butterfly! She will never turn down a good neck or back scratch, and likes to be a part of any task big or small. We have been trying to curb any negative behaviors as she is learning to respect people's personal space. She will require an adopter that is firm in establishing boundaries to prevent any of these behaviors from escalating. River has not yet had tack on her and is not broke to ride. If wanting to go that route for her, she will require an advanced adopter that is familiar with starting horses.
