Tinker is a 5.5-pound Maltese - although she is blind she sees with her heart! She’s a tiny cuddlebug who just wants a quiet home and a loving lap to call her own. She is the sweetest and most gentle girl who has been through alot and deserves a very special home. Tinker does well in a playpen or contained space and is very easy to handle.
Tinker easily takes two liquid meds daily for gallstones and inflammatory bowel disease. (Cost for the medications are approximately $50 per month.) She will need time to learn a new household, including learning a potty routine. She will do best in a quieter household with maybe one other small calm dog. Tinker is fostering in Tempe. She is also spayed, had a dental and her eyes removed while in rescue, is current on vaccines and microchipped. We rescue senior. medical and special needs dogs from the community and shelters to save them from euthanasia. We bring these homeless dogs and cats to our sanctuary, or to live with one of our foster families, where they receive quality care, comfort and dignity. We provide a temporary or permanent home for senior pets for the remainder of their lives, or until they have received all the medical care needed to become adoptable. Our primary goal is to find a permanent loving and compassionate homes for senior pets while they are still experiencing quality of life.
