My name is Tucker!

Tucker is a stunning 1-year-old male German Shepherd with a big heart to match his big, beautiful frame. His fluffy coat is unbelievably soft, and he absolutely loves when you run your hands through it—because, above all else, Tucker is a total lovebug. He lives for attention, happily seeking out anyone willing to give him pets, praise, or affection.

When you first meet Tucker, he’ll greet you with excitement, but he settles down quickly and enjoys simply being near his people. He isn’t overly interested in toys just yet, though he’ll occasionally chew on a good bone. What he is passionate about is going for walks. Tucker is a dedicated explorer with a curious mind and an impressive nose—he wants to sniff everything! His adventurous streak also makes him a bit of an escape artist, but we’re confident that once he’s in a stable home with people he truly bonds with, he’ll feel secure enough to respect boundaries.

Despite his curiosity, Tucker loves to lounge and nap, but he’s always quick to alert when something catches his attention. For such a big boy, he’s incredibly affectionate and gentle—his greatest wish is simply to be loved.

Tucker is fully potty-trained and has a good handle on his basic manners. While he isn’t a huge fan of being crated, he’s improving every day with consistent training. He does well with dogs his size but would do best in a home without cats.
