Meet Frank, a sweet and gentle boy who is quickly learning what it means to feel safe in a home. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was very fearful, but in his foster home, he’s already making great progress.

Frank loves his foster sister and lights up when he’s around her, showing glimpses of the playful, goofy side of him that is starting to come out. He’s still shy with people, but he’s beginning to take treats, enjoy gentle pets, and relax more each day.

Though he’s still adjusting, Frank is incredibly loving and eager to build trust with the right person. With patience and a calm, supportive home, he will be the most wonderful companion.

Our adoption contract requires you to take care of the pet and agree to return to our shelter if the pet doesn't fit your situation.

Pay Fee

Our standard adoption rates are $150 for puppies (6 mos and under) $90 for dogs and $70 for cats.

Take the Pet Home

Colleton County Animal Shelter offers pets for adoption to the public. You don't have to be a Colleton resident to adopt from our shelter. Our adoption process is welcoming and simple; meet our pets, work with our team to find the best match for your lifestyle, complete our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, take home your new best friend!
