My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable black and tan Chihuahua mix is the perfect blend of sweet and spunky! Born on 12/4/24 and weighing just 13 pounds, Amelia may be small, but she has a BIG personality. She loves to be near her people, enjoys playtime, and is always ready to brighten your day with her little bursts of energy.

Amelia is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and spoiled the way she deserves. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with lots of heart, Amelia might just be your girl!

Additional adoption info

We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $90 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private rescue. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond.

Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.
