My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snow
From the “coldest” name to the warmest heart.

Hi… I’m Snow. Just a few weeks ago, I was about to be put to sleep at a local shelter, unsure if anyone would ever come for me. Then everything changed. Someone looked into my big hopeful eyes and decided I deserved more—a family, a couch, a life. And now here I am, ready to meet you.

Since getting my second chance, I’ve been working hard on being the best girl ever:

I walk nicely on a leash—okay, okay, sometimes I get a little happy pull when the world smells extra exciting.
I know sit, down, and even place (I told you I was smart!).
I’m super treat-motivated. Like… SUPER. Got snacks? We’re friends.
I stay calm around other dogs—just taking in the vibes.

I’ve met some kids, and wow, I love them. They’re small, giggly snack machines and I approve.

I’m 62 pounds of gentle sweetness, 3 years old, and so ready for a warm home where I never have to be scared again.

If you’re looking for a girl who was saved just in time and is ready to repay that kindness with love, cuddles, and loyalty…

Come meet Snow—
I promise I’ll melt right into your heart.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
