- I can be shy when meeting new people, so it might take a couple meet and greets before I’m comfortable with you
- I am still working on house training, but am getting better!
- Once I know you, I love to snuggle and would be happy hanging out on the couch with my humans
- I love going outside for my walks
- I seek solace in my crate since it makes me feel safe, like I`m in my doggie bedroom
- Sometimes I feel quite anxious, so I`m looking for a home with humans who understand that taking things slow with me is essential for everyone`s happiness!

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
