Nina came in with a batch of stray puppies, she is a Corgi mix. We estimate her birthday to be January 2025. She is currently staying with a foster family, so please call the office to make arrangements to meet her.
Here is what her foster family says about her:
********
Nina is one of the puppies that was dumped on El Paso back in Nov.
She is doing great in our home and will be the perfect companion for any family!!
She is so gentle when taking treats and loves to snuggle up and get pets. After almost 2 weeks with us she has blossomed so much.
Also, Nina is completely house trained!!
She is still a little cautious getting a leashed up but once it's on, she is the perfect girl during her walks. She also does really well with dogs of similar size and we can tell she will do well with bigger dogs once she gets some time to get to know them.
She doesn't mind cats and has been around chickens and cows.
Nina is a little shy at first meeting, but she will be an amazing addition for any family once she's had a little time to adjust.
Update: February 1st
Nina is doing wonderful! She would absolutely do well with small, young children. She is still a tad shy with new people until she gets to know them, but she is super friendly and gentle.
She really loves toys and running around outside with our bigger dogs and checking out the cows.
She has wonderful recall and doesn't wander far away from her people when outside. She does like to follow closely to be with her family when walking through the house, sometimes right underfoot so just keep an eye open.
She also crates well overnight or is also very happy to be with her people to snuggle up, depending on their preference.
Zero potty accidents since we first brought her home. Nina truly has the sweetest demeanor and wants to please.
I honestly can't say enough good things about her!
