Meet the Pet
This helps Stone County Humane Society with pet care costs.
**Sonny was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, learn manners and he will learn lots of tricks as well! Sonny will be looking for a forever home before he graduates in early February, so if you are interested in meeting him, please contact us. Read more about him below…
Sonny is a happy boy, desperate for human affection. He came from a home of 11 dogs that were not being fed or given attention and that is why he desires affection. Sonny gets excited and hyper when people first approach, but he calms down and enjoys the attention once he starts getting it. Sonny gets along with other dogs and would be fine with kids. He is house-trained and we are working on leash training. Sonny will make a great addition to any home that will welcome and spoil him, like he deserves. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website, www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.
