My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ivy! She is a 9-month-old tan-and-white cutie with a smooth coat and an even smoother heart. She can be timid at first, but with a little patience and reassurance, Ivy truly starts to bloom. Once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side comes out—she loves to run happy little circles around your ankles, chew on her favorite toys, and shower her people with sweet face licks.

Ivy is dog-friendly and would enjoy having a canine companion to play with and help build her confidence. She has not been formally tested with cats at this time.

Deep down, Ivy just wants a family to love and a place where she can feel secure—and she’s more than ready for her happily ever after.

Go meet their pets

We are open from 7-9am and 4-6pm, seven days a week. The Annex only houses dogs, but our volunteers do have cats in foster. Due to Covid restrictions, visitors to the shelter to meet the pets are by appointment only with a pre-approved application.

More about this shelter

Fulton County Regional SPCA is a volunteer-run, donation-funded, not-for-profit organization founded as Regional Animal Shelter in 2002. The doors of our Annex opened in May of 2012. We re-incorporated as an Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in 2019.

Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. We provide immediate shelter and care for any homeless or abused animals and either reunite these animals with their owners or find them new, loving homes. We will actively promote animal and owner education, training, and public awareness to improve the lives of the animals in our community and beyond.e.
