These fluffy little lovebugs are ready to find their forever families! Each pup has their own personality playful, affectionate, and full of that signature Shih Tzu charm. Theyre being well-socialized in foster care and are learning all about toys, cuddles, and the joys of puppy life. As young pups, theyll need families ready to continue their training and give them the structure, patience, and love they need to thrive. A Few Important Notes: Adoption Area: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI. Renters: If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly at mallorytsherwood@gmail.com to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home. Adoption Fee: $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet. Using Your Own Vet: If you prefer to complete the spay/neuter with your own vet, well reimburse $100 once proof of procedure is provided. This must be done before 6 months of age, and adopters will sign a contract agreeing to this. The Charlie Project Dog Rescue is named after a jolly Pomeranian who was supposed to be a stud dog for a breeding facility who seemed to large for them at 10 lbs. He was lucky to be saved but from the time he was a pup he suffered with grade 4 Patellas, collapsed trachea, heart murmur etc These are inherited traits that good breeders would screen out, the business of mass breeding doesn't care. My goal is for every dog regardless of being an undesirable one, deserves a home
