Meet Toodee — the gorgeous, grey, hazel-eyed heart-melter who looks like she walked straight out of a moody dog-model photoshoot but acts like a giggly, wiggly cartoon character who can’t believe her luck that humans exist. She’s about one year old, around 50 lbs, and 100% sweetheart. Her tail has two settings: wiggle and super-turbo wiggle, and when she’s excited, her whole body gets in on it like she’s made of Jell-O and optimism. We think she’s got some boxer in her (rescue guessing game: 10/10), but whatever the mix, she’s pure squishy-faced, wiggle-butt joy
Toodee is a professional snuggler, a toy thief (in the cutest way), and a certified “follow you around to see what you’re doing” investigator. If you pick up a snack? She’s there. Folding laundry? She’s there. Opening a mysterious cabinet? She. Is. There. Her foster says she’s the kind of pup who lights up the whole room with her goofy charm and full-body wiggles, and she loves nothing more than being with her people, lounging in sunny spots, and playing silly games with her dog friends.

She’s also a social butterfly with humans — once she realizes you're her person, she warms up quickly and leans in for affection like she’s known you forever. She’s done well around older kids, and because she likes to warm up to new things, a household with older, calm kids would be a great fit while she learns the ropes with littler humans.
She’s playful, curious, and loves having a dog buddy around to share her joy (and her toys… eventually). Her play style is big, bouncy, and delightfully dramatic — she’s mouthy, rowdy, and occasionally sounds like she’s narrating her own WWE highlight reel, all in fun. A confident, goofy male dog who isn’t bothered by her “LET’S PLAY NOW PLEASE” energy would be her absolute dream teammate.
Toodee lives with dogs in her foster home and does great with them. She likes to take a little time to get her rhythm with new dog friends, and once she’s in the groove, she’s all about rough-and-tumble play, goofy zooms, and happy chaos. She’ll let another dog know if they’re being a bit much (politely, in dog language), but she pairs wonderfully with respectful, confident pups who give her space at the start and then join her in rowdy fun.
Toodee is crate trained, house trained, sunbeam-obsessed, toy-enthusiastic, and truly just a joyful, affectionate young pup who wants a family to adore. Her dream home would have a yard for exploring and sunbathing, humans who laugh at her silly antics, and maybe a fun dog friend to wrestle with. She’d thrive in a house or quieter townhouse/apartment — someplace she can take her time settling in and then shine like the silly, loving girl she is.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
