My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I’m Branson! I’m a 2-year-old Bearded Collie mix weighing about 56 pounds, and I’m as friendly and adorable as they come. I’m making my way from Kentucky to find my forever home, and I can’t wait to meet the family that’s been waiting for me too!

I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I’ve got that classic Bearded Collie charm: smart, social, and always ready to make you smile. Whether we’re going for walks, playing in the yard, or just hanging out together, I’ll be right by your side, tail wagging. I’ve got a big heart and plenty of love to give, and I’m hoping to find a family who’s ready for a loyal companion like me.

If you think I could be the perfect new addition to your family, please apply to adopt me at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application from your laptop or computer. I can’t wait to meet you and start our next adventure together!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
