My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Harvest! I’m a 4-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 20 pounds of pure puppy sweetness. I’ll probably grow to be around 60–75 pounds when I’m full grown—just the right size for a loyal best friend. I’ve had my basic puppy shots, but my future family will need to keep me on schedule with vaccines and get me spayed when I’m old enough.

Anatolian Shepherds are known for being loyal, gentle, and smart, and I’m already showing those traits every day. I’m a curious girl who loves to explore, play, and follow my humans around to see what’s going on. When I’m not adventuring, I’m all about cuddles, belly rubs, and cozy naps. I have a happy heart and can’t wait to share it with someone special.

If you think I could be the perfect new addition to your family, please apply to adopt me at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application from your laptop or computer. I can’t wait to meet you and bring a little sunshine to your home!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
