This 4-month-old, 12-pound heart-melter is packed with adorable puppy energy and ready to charm his way into your life. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico by The Sato Project, Charles has already shown he’s a brave little survivor with a huge personality.
Charles is everything you want in a puppy—playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure (or cuddle session). He loves people, enjoys exploring, and is eager to learn all the big-dog skills life has to offer.
Special Arrival Alert!
Charles will be flying into Morristown, NJ on December 28th, and he would love nothing more than to meet his forever family right at the airport. What better way to start a new life together?
If he isn’t adopted before his arrival, Charles will be welcomed into a loving foster home in the tristate area—so he’ll be safe and cared for while he continues his search for the perfect family.
If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited, and irresistible little pup to grow up by your side, Charles LeClerc might just be your perfect match.

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.

The Sato Project is dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs from Puerto Rico. There are currently an estimated 500,000 stray dogs roaming the island’s streets and beaches. With no access to food, fresh water, or veterinary care, many of these dogs are living daily lives of severe suffering. The municipal shelter system is drastically overwhelmed, with only five shelters across all 78 of the island’s municipalities. These shelters have a combined euthanasia rate of over 94%. For thousands of stray and abandoned dogs in the area in which we operate, we are their only hope.
