My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hendrix is a 2-year-old-male Rat Terrier mix (who may have some Chihuahua is his mix); and he has already been neutered.  He was found as a stray; and after the person who found him could not find his owner Hendrix was brought to PAHS. This handsome rascal has a white coat with black markings; and he only weighs 12 pounds.  Hendrix is a spunky little guy that keeps our staff laughing.  He is quite active and playful.  Hendrix would do well in a home with other small dogs and older children.  He is trained to use potty pads; and we believe he is on his way to being house trained.  Hendrix loves a car ride; and the car ride he will love the best is the one to his new home after he is adopted.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
