"Just like my namesake, I have an adventurous spirit and I'm eager to explore the world—though I much prefer chasing my favorite ball to battling a grumpy demigod! At just one year old, I'm right in the middle of my 'goofy teenager' phase. I have energy for walks, playtime, and learning new things (especially when treats are involved!), but also enjoy a good snuggle sesh on the couch with my favorite people!
I'm working on my leash manners and perfecting my 'sit' and 'stay,' but I'm a quick learner and very eager to please. I dream of a home where I can run in a yard, get plenty of daily mental stimulation, and then crash on the couch with my human for a cozy evening. I currently get along well with [Dogs/Kids/Cats - Be Specific], but because I'm still a bit jumpy and excitable, older kids might be best!
What I'm Looking For: A loving family who will be patient as I continue my training and who is ready to include me in all their fun activities. I promise a lifetime of tail wags, hilarious zoomies, and unconditional love!"

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
