This lovely girl truly lives up to her name! Princess came to us as an owner surrender due to health issues, and now she’s ready to brighten someone else’s life with her gentle heart and loving personality.

Princess is incredibly sweet, social, and so eager to snuggle her way right into her new family’s routine. She greets new people with the softest enthusiasm and absolutely enjoys spending time outside, whether it’s for a little playtime or just soaking up some fresh air.

She does seem to know “sit” already (such a smart girl!), and with a bit of consistent basic training, she’d be more than happy to learn even more. Princess hasn’t shown much interest in other dogs here, so we strongly recommend a meet-and-greet if you have another pup at home, just to make sure everyone gets along.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who’s all about love and companionship, Princess is ready to be your loyal royal. 💕👑🐶

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
