My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Woof* I`m in a foster home! Email my foster caregiver to meet me: dcheidi@gmail.com

Biscuit has heartworm which means she needs rest and to be calm while she gets fixed up. The good thing is that HRA will take care of all her treatments free of charge if you adopt her.

Biscuit is a yummy, scrumptious chocolate sweetie. She is really a super wonderful pup who adores love and affection. The way she trots about is just charming and so precious. Biscuit is seeking a fabulous home with adopters that can help her. She does need to be calm and quiet during her treatments. The HRA staff can tell you more about the care (and it`s really so easy!) she will need while she heals. Biscuit is one of the sweetest pups we have and she will be so grateful to be in a caring and supportive home. Meet this incredible pup today- she needs you!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
